Equipment & Training Funding

Through the support of our industry partners, we provide Firefighter Air Replenishment Systems (FARS) to fire departments for installation in their training towers. To qualify for FARS funding, one of the following FARS codes must be in place or in the process of adoption in your jurisdiction:

• Appendix L of the ICC International Fire Code
• Appendix F of the Uniform Plumbing Code
• The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) NFPA-1 FARS Annex

The requesting fire department should be a regional training center or commit to provide training on FARS to other departments by request.
